About the company
Remote World is partnering with a UK-based digital marketing consultancy to hire for this role. They manage social media, email, and paid campaigns for a portfolio of SME clients. They're a small, fast-moving team and need a VA to handle the admin and marketing execution that keeps campaigns running on time.
The role
You'll support the account managers with scheduling social posts, preparing reports, managing content calendars, updating spreadsheets, and handling the behind-the-scenes admin that keeps client campaigns on track. You'll be organised, reliable, and quick to get to grips with new tools.
What you'll do
- Schedule and publish social media posts using Buffer, Hootsuite, or Later
- Maintain and update content calendars for multiple clients
- Compile weekly and monthly performance reports from ad platforms
- Handle general admin including document formatting, data entry, and inbox management
- Research competitor content, industry news, and trending topics for briefs
What you'll need
- Organised and detail-oriented — you keep multiple plates spinning without dropping any
- Good written English for client-facing documents and communications
- Quick learner with new tools and platforms
- Reliable — deadlines in marketing are real
Nice to have
- Experience in a marketing agency or supporting a marketing team
- Familiarity with social scheduling tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, Later)
- Exposure to Meta Ads Manager or Google Analytics reporting
