About the company
Remote World is partnering with a US-based software company to hire for this role. They build SaaS tools for the SMB market and need a QA tester to help them ship reliable, bug-free releases.
The role
You'll design and execute test cases, report bugs clearly, verify fixes, and help the team maintain high release quality. You'll work closely with developers and product managers in an agile environment and be the last line of defence before code ships.
What you'll do

- Log bugs clearly in Jira with steps to reproduce, expected vs actual results
- Perform regression testing ahead of releases
- Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and edge cases
- Contribute to test documentation and QA process improvements
What you'll need
- Methodical and thorough — you find the edge cases others miss
- Clear bug reporter — developers understand your reports first time
- Familiar with agile development and sprint cycles
- Comfortable with web and mobile app testing
Nice to have
- Experience with test management tools like Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr
- Basic scripting or automation testing skills (Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
- ISTQB Foundation certification or similar
What you'll get
- $2,000–$3,500 USD/month based on experience
- Fully remote with flexible hours
- Work with a US product team shipping real software
- Paid leave and equipment budget
- Path into SDET or QA lead roles

About Remote World
Remote World was founded in 2023 with a simple belief: the future of work is remote, and everyone should have access to quality remote opportunities regardless of their location.
We noticed that while remote work is growing rapidly, many talented individuals around the world struggled to find legitimate, well-paying remote positions. At the same time, employers were struggling to find qualified remote talent from a global pool.
Remote World was created to solve this problem by building a comprehensive platform that not only connects job seekers with employers, but also empowers workers to develop the skills they need to succeed in remote environments.
Today, we're proud to have connected over 500 talented professionals with remote opportunities worldwide, and we're just getting started.
