About the company
Remote World is partnering with a UK B2B media company serving the HR and people management sector – a UK-based employer – to hire for this role. Their publications, events and research reports are read by over 100,000 HR professionals monthly – and they're building a content programme to drive subscription and ad revenue.
The role
You'll plan and manage the editorial content programme across newsletters, thought-leadership articles and sponsored research reports. Working with the editorial director and commercial team, you'll commission and edit content, manage the publishing calendar and track content performance against audience and revenue targets.
What you'll do
- Plan and maintain the editorial content calendar across channels
- Commission and brief freelance writers on thought-leadership pieces
- Edit copy to meet editorial standards and house style
- Track content performance – open rates, time on page, conversion – and report weekly
- Support the commercial team with content packaging for advertiser programmes
What you'll need
- Experience in a content, editorial or communications role
- Strong writing and editing skills – you can improve a piece quickly and clearly
- Ability to manage multiple content projects simultaneously
- Comfortable with content performance data (GA4, newsletter metrics)
- Good async written communication
Nice to have
- Experience in B2B media, trade publishing or professional services content
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Contentful or similar)
