About the company

Remote World is partnering with a UK travel-tech startup for group trip booking –€” a UK-based employer –€” to hire for this role. Their platform helps friend groups and sports teams plan and book trips together –€” managing split payments, accommodation and itineraries in one place.

The role

You'll build the Vue.js frontend features that make group travel planning less chaotic. Working with the lead frontend developer, you'll ship new booking flows, improve the itinerary builder and integrate with travel supplier APIs.

What you'll do

• Build new features using Vue 3 and the Composition API
• Integrate with supplier APIs (flights, hotels, activities)
• Improve mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
• Write unit tests with Vitest
• Contribute to the shared component library and internal UI docs

What you'll need

• Hands-on Vue 3 experience –€” you've shipped something real with it
• Comfortable with TypeScript and modern CSS
• Familiarity with REST API integration on the frontend
• You write tests and care about reusable components
• Good async written communication

Nice to have

• Experience with Nuxt.js
• Familiarity with animation libraries (GSAP or Framer Motion)
