About the Role
We are looking for a Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimise our database systems. Performance, availability, and security are your primary responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain relational and NoSQL databases. Monitor performance and optimise queries, indexes, and schemas. Implement backup, recovery, and high availability strategies. Manage user access and enforce database security policies. Support development teams with database design and query optimisation.
Requirements
3+ years of DBA experience. Proficiency with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server. Experience with cloud-managed database services. Strong scripting skills for automation (Python or Bash). Understanding of database security and compliance requirements.
