VP, Demand Generation
Role Overview
The Vice President of Digital Demand Generation is responsible for architecting and executing a global, data-driven demand strategy that drives pipeline growth, customer acquisition, and revenue across all digital channels. This leader will own the end-to-end digital funnel—from awareness through conversion—leveraging advanced landing page strategies, SEO/SEM, AI-driven optimization, and marketing automation. This role requires deep expertise in B2B software marketing, modern growth frameworks, and the ability to scale a high-performing global team spanning demand generation, marketing operations, and digital commerce.
What your impact will be
Global Demand Strategy & Execution
- Define and execute a comprehensive digital demand generation strategy aligned to revenue targets and go-to-market priorities.
- Own pipeline generation across inbound and outbound digital channels, ensuring measurable contribution to bookings.
- Partner closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and RevOps to align demand programs with ICPs, buyer journeys, and regional priorities.
Digital Experience & Conversion Optimization
- Lead development of high-performing digital landing strategies, including personalization, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Optimize the full digital funnel (traffic → engagement → conversion → pipeline).
- Oversee website strategy as a primary demand engine, ensuring alignment with SEO, paid media, and campaign objectives.
SEO / SEM & Paid Media
- Own global SEO and SEM strategy, including technical SEO, content optimization, and paid search execution.
- Scale multi-channel acquisition programs (search, display, social, retargeting) with a strong ROI orientation.
- Continuously refine keyword strategy and intent-based targeting to capture in-market demand.
AI-Driven Marketing & Innovation
- Integrate AI and machine learning into demand generation workflows (e.g., predictive scoring, personalization, content generation, campaign optimization).
- Evaluate and implement emerging AI-driven marketing technologies to improve efficiency and performance.
- Establish experimentation frameworks leveraging AI for rapid testing and iteration.
Marketing Operations & Technology Stack
- Oversee global Marketing Operations, including campaign execution, lead lifecycle management, and data governance.
- Own and optimize the marketing tech stack, including:
- Marketo (or equivalent MAP)
- Salesforce CRM
- Attribution and analytics platforms
- Ensure seamless integration across systems to support accurate reporting, lead routing, and pipeline visibility.
E-commerce & Digital Revenue
- Lead strategy and optimization for the digital commerce engine, including self-service purchase flows, product-led growth (PLG) motions, and conversion optimization.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to improve digital buying experiences and increase online revenue contribution.
Team Leadership & Global Scale
- Build and lead a high-performing global team across:
- Demand Generation
- Digital Marketing
- Marketing Operations
- Establish clear KPIs, performance management frameworks, and career development paths.
- Foster a culture of accountability, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
What you will bring
- 12–15+ years in B2B marketing, with significant leadership experience in digital demand generation.
- Proven success in enterprise or high-growth software/SaaS environments.
- Demonstrated ownership of pipeline and revenue targets at scale.
Domain Expertise (Deep expertise in):
- Landing page strategy and CRO
- SEO/SEM and paid acquisition
Marketing Automation:
- Marketing automation (Marketo) and CRM systems (Salesforce)
- Strong understanding of modern buyer journeys, intent data, and account-based strategies.
- Experience managing or scaling digital commerce / e-commerce motions in a B2B context.
AI & Data Orientation:
- Practical experience applying AI in marketing workflows (e.g., personalization, predictive analytics, generative AI).
- Strong analytical mindset with fluency in attribution models, funnel metrics, and performance optimization.
Leadership:
- Experience managing distributed, global teams across regions and functions.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence Sales, Product, and Executive stakeholders.
